Continuing our Fall webinar series, Holistic Solutions to Crisis: Exploring the 4 Domains, this webinar gives viewers a taste of the Empowered Worldview Program. First rolled out in Tanzania in 2014 to help World Vision beneficiaries move out of a dependency mentality, EWV—centered on small group Scripture discussion and adult learning experiences—has spread organically to 28 countries. The curriculum has proven effective in igniting a mindset shift across a range of audiences by helping the most vulnerable as well as World Vision staff at all levels to move past a scarcity mentality, focus on our God-given identity and creativity, and use all of the resources God has placed in our hands to flourish.
This webinar provided an introduction to EWV's main concepts, a key activity from the program, and a .pdf book, Breaking the Chains of Poverty, that shares EWV's core ideas through stories of impact. |
