On September 11 the Savings Groups and Savings-led Microfinance Community of Practice met to discuss the nuances of youth savings groups: benefits and drawbacks, suggested methodological or cultural changes, and risks to be aware of. We heard from Stella Tungaraza (Independent Consultant, formerly Plan International) and Hefri Tolu (Compassion International, Indonesia) about their experiences implementing Youth Savings Groups.
